We address these questions and more during our 3-part webinar series. Each 30-minute webinar will address specific leadership strategies and provide you with the tools you need to make the most of your volunteer leadership experience!

Each webinar will feature an expert panel of presenters, including:

Session 1: Introduction to Leadership within AAFCS

This 30-minute webinar will address the following questions:

  • What are the leadership roles available within AAFCS and how does one progress along the leadership path?
  • I've been nominated to a committee, now what? What resources are available to help me make the most of my assignment?

Session 2: Becoming an Effective Leader within AAFCS

This 30-minute webinar will address the following questions:

  • What are good strategies and tools to maintain effective and purposeful communication with committee members?
  • How do I work with committee members to establish goals and accountability measures to ensure works gets done in a timely manner?

Session 3
:   Facilitative Leadership

This 30-minute webinar will address the following questions:

  • What can I do as a leader to ensure committee time is well-spent and productive?
  • How can I engage all committee members and delegate work according to our diverse strengths and interests?

These three Leadership webinars will be offered to AAFCS members and nonmembers on a complimentary basis. They are open to all; they are not limited to current committee members or current leaders.
