Room Rates and Reservations To receive the special discounted room rate listed above, make your reservation by midnight (11:59pm ET) on May 20, 2008 (subject to availability). Room rates are subject to local taxes, currently 5.85% per room,
per day. To hold your reservation at the Hilton Milwaukee City
Center, you must provide a deposit equal to one night’s stay by using a personal check, money order, or a valid American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, or Carte Blanche card number and expiration date. Be sure to make your reservation at the AAFCS Annual Conference rate by May 20, 2008. Call Hilton Reservations at 1-800-HILTONS and ask for the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences
Annual Conference attendee rate or book online. The hotel will attempt to accommodate all special requests, but cannot guarantee them. Please Note: AAFCS has reserved a block of rooms at the hotel. While the discounted rates are guaranteed by the hotel until May 20th, the rooms are subject to availability. That means that when the AAFCS room block is filled, rooms MAY not be available at the discounted rate even if the May 20th deadline has not yet passed. Please reserve early! Hotel Cancellation Policies If you must cancel your guaranteed hotel reservation, your deposit will be refunded if you notify the hotel at least three (3) working days prior to your arrival and obtain a cancellation number. |

hotel, the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, is ideally located in the center of the city’s business, entertainment, and cultural districts. Guests are within easy walking distance of many of the city’s
attractions, restaurants, shopping centers, sporting events, and museums. In addition, the hotel is right across from and connected via sky-bridge to the Midwest Airlines Center, Milwaukee’s largest convention facility, and just 15 minutes from General Mitchell
International Airport. Most Annual Conference functions will
take place in the Midwest Airlines Center.
