Student Unit (SU) Sessions/Events
The AAFCS Student Unit (SU) has designed activities especially for graduate and undergraduate students. On Thursday, network with students and the National Student Officer Team while enjoying fun and relaxing activities during the SU Social Night. On Friday, attend the SU business meeting to hear updates on SU events and accomplishments of the past year, receive information about opportunities for involvement, assist with goal setting for the next fiscal year, and discuss the future of the SU. The SU will induct new officers and recognize SU award recipients and scholarship winners. Later on Friday, be sure to attend “Connecting Student Members Across Generations: Tips for Student Unit Members and Chapters.” This interactive session will cover topics
of leadership, chapter and member involvement, opportunities for students in AAFCS, and more! Award-winning chapters from across the country will share their secrets to “getting connected” with AAFCS SU members. Take home ideas, tips, and inspiration so your chapter will continue to reach individuals, families, and communities for the next 100 years.
