All Full and Student registrations will include a ticket to the Welcome Reception on Sunday, the Continental Breakfast on Tuesday, and Capstone Luncheon on Wednesday!  One-Day Registrations include one of these meal functions, and Family/Guest Registrations & Expo registrations include a ticket to the Tuesday Continental Breakfast.

If you have a complimentary, KON Conclave, Leadership Academy, or other type of registration, please refer to the information provided to you by AAFCS or KON for included tickets.

PLEASE NOTE: Ticket sales will close on May 31st. NO TICKET REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED AFTER THAT POINT, AND NO TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED ON-SITE. Tickets will not be sold, exchanged, or refunded on-site*, as AAFCS must guarantee food included with events prior to the opening of the conference. If you are a speaker at a meal, you MUST purchase a ticket. If you believe that your ticket will be sponsored by the meal function's hosts, please contact them and ensure that they are purchasing your ticket.

Join the Community of Elementary, Secondary, and Adult Education as they honor the 2019 National Teacher of the Year, Merit Finalist(s), and Affiliate Teachers of the Year.  2018 National Teacher of the Year Jenny Lee Watson, CFCS, will be the guest speaker.

Kappa Omicron Nu and Phi Upsilon Omicron Luncheon, $45

This luncheon will feature a presentation by the recipient of the Coordinating Council of Honor Societies Undergraduate Research Paper Award. Updates and awards of the two college honor societies will also be highlighted.


AAFCS Gratitude Reception: Honoring 50 Years of Membership, $27, (One complimentary ticket included with each First-Time 50-Year Member registration)

Making a lasting commitment to one's profession via sustained membership gives in many ways. For the individual, it fosters relationships and builds a peer network with a shared career passion. To the association, it gives a solid base of supporters who sustain the work that helps professionals and students strengthen their skills as they navigate their chosen profession. Join us as we honor our members and learn from those who have achieved 50 years of AAFCS membership as of June 2019. Dessert will be served. 


National Coalition for Black Development in Family & Consumer Sciences Banquet, $65

Community of Global Perspectives Luncheon: “The Immigrant Crisis in the United States:  How Can We Respond?”  $45

What can family and consumer sciences professionals do with their students/clients and in their communities to advance the mission of family and consumer sciences on behalf of immigrants and refugees?  A panel (including representatives from area agencies) will discuss strategies that family and consumer professionals can use to identify and collaborate with community organizations to address the critical issues facing families of immigrants and refugees in the United States.

Communities of Business & Entrepreneurship, Partners in Home and Community, and Non-Traditional Careers Luncheon: “What is Happening in Today’s Businesses and Why Does Family and Consumer Sciences Need to Stay Vital?” $45

FCS professionals are important to businesses and communities as our knowledge relates to the Connection, Trust, Empowerment, Mindfulness, and Relationships necessary for individuals, businesses, and communities to stay vital.  The session will address trends in businesses today and why FCS must stay actively involved in helping move our world forward.
