Professionals can earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) by attending/participating in the Virtual Conference on June 25-26 and/or viewing recorded content after the event. The recorded content will be accessible in your MyAAFCS account until June 26, 2021 in the Virtual Conference Resource Library.

Where can I access the Conference Library to retrieve handouts for the sessions I will attend?

Do you need to use Zoom on a computer/laptop/device?
No, you can use Zoom on ANY of these devices and also your cell phone!

How do I participate in a zoom meeting using the Zoom app?

  1. Open the Zoom app on your desktop, Start button, Zoom folder, start Zoom.

  2. Click on Sign in.

  3. On right side menu Select "Sign In with SSO"

  4. Enter your USQ username and password if prompted.

  5. Click on Join.

  6. Enter the Meeting ID (this is displayed in the email invitation)

Where do I download the latest version of Zoom?
You can download the latest version of Zoom from our Download Center. Learn more about downloading Zoom.

How to I use Zoom on my PC or Mac?
After downloading Zoom, learn how to use the Zoom Desktop Client.

Do you need an account to use Zoom?
A Zoom account is not required if you are strictly joining Zoom Meetings as a participant. If someone invites you to their meeting, you can join as a participant without creating an account.

A Zoom account is only required if you need to create your own meetings and send invitations to participants.

Can I Use Bluetooth Headset?
Yes, as long as the Bluetooth device is compatible with the computer or mobile device that you are using.

Do I have to have a webcam to join on Zoom?
While you are not required to have a webcam to join a Zoom Meeting or Webinar, you will not be able to transmit video of yourself. You will continue to be able to listen and speak during the meeting, share your screen, and view the webcam video of other participants. 

Will I be able to obtain proof for my workplace that I attended entire sessions?
Yes - our Zoom attendance report can provide this information by request; please email Sandra Andrade at AAFCS:  sandrade@aafcs.org.

There is echo in my meeting.
Echo can be caused by many things, such as a participant connected to the meeting audio on multiple devices or two participants joined in from the same local. Learn about common causes of audio echo.
