Community & Group Event Guidelines

Sessions that should be submitted as Community & Group Events include the annual events listed below, along with other social and networking sessions. 

This type of submission is for the listed events--NOT for individual submissions within those events. For example: the leader of the Community of Colleges, Universities, and Research would submit the poster session. Poster presenters would submit SEPARATELY directly to the community--not through this system.

  • Community of Colleges, Universities, and Research (CUR) Oral Research Presentations 
  • Assembly of Higher Education Undergraduate Student Research Poster Session 
  • Community of Apparel, Textiles & Design (ATD) Juried Showcase and Exhibition 
  • Community of Elementary, Secondary & Adult Education (ESAE) Curriculum Showcase 
  • "Twice is Nice" Accessories Swap
  • Student Unit Social Night
  • Communities Showcase
  • First-Time Attendee Orientation

Submissions are open to communities, committees, affiliates, and other AAFCS subgroups, as well as related organizations.
