All Full and Student registrations will include a ticket to the Blast of Blue Welcome Reception & Expo on Friday and the Lunch in the Expo Marketplace on Saturday. Saturday-Only and Family/Guest Registrations include a ticket to the Expo Luncheon.
If you have a complimentary or First-Time 50-Year Member registration, please refer to the information provided to you by AAFCS for included tickets.
PLEASE NOTE: Ticket sales will close on June 1st. NO TICKET REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED AFTER THAT POINT, AND NO TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED ON-SITE. Tickets will not be sold, exchanged, or refunded on-site*, as AAFCS must guarantee food included with events prior to the opening of the conference. If you are a speaker at a meal, you MUST purchase a ticket. If you believe that your ticket will be sponsored by the meal function's hosts, please contact them and ensure that they are purchasing your ticket.

Banquet to honor the accomplishments of Coalition members as well as to recognize the contributions of the Coalition to the mission of family and consumer sciences. Semi-formal attire recommended.
Kappa Omicron Nu and Phi Upsilon Omicron Luncheon, $45
This luncheon will feature a presentation by the recipient of the Coordinating Council of Honor Societies Undergraduate Research Paper Award. Updates and awards of the two college honor societies will also be highlighted.

Betty Mann McQueen, CFCS, is the speaker for the 2020 Joint Community Luncheon. For over 60 years she has had a varied and non-traditional career, including but not limited to, early childhood education, workplace education, counselling, Extension, and author. Her calling is Family and Consumer Sciences. Her purpose is a teacher who writes. Her mission is to empower others to fulfill their potential and manifest their dreams. She will have some take-aways for each person.
"My Journey to America," Sponsored by the Community of Global Perspectives, $45
Lombuso S. Khoza, Ph.D., University of Maryland Eastern Shore, will share her journey to America as a student and as a professional. Dr. Khoza has a Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University. Currently, she works in the Human Ecology Department as an Associate Professor. Her research interests include globalization's impact on African textile and apparel industries, cultural leaning and symbolism in traditional dress, fashion’s effect on traditional dress/cross-cultural learning styles. She teaches classes for the fashion major. Dr. Khoza has led several study tours to Europe and she is the advisor for the Fashion Institute of Technology student group.
