Donations are Still Needed for 2017 Caribbean Hurricane Relief

The Disaster Assistance Partnerships (DAP) for Home Economics Programs in Developing Countries is still collecting items in good condition or monetary donations for use in Home Economics educational programs in the Caribbean, including Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and the British West Indies. Many of the  Caribbean countries experienced a devastating loss of their schools and educational resources for their programs. Several pallets of supplies have been shipped to the Virgin Islands and British West Indies to assist schools with re-starting their home economics programs. The cost for shipping of these pallets of supplies has been almost $5,000. The current focus is to gather and ship items to the Puerto Rico programs.

DAP is a Committee of the International Federation of Home Economics and is affiliated with the International Home Economics Services, Inc. (IHES).
All donations are a charitable donation and a receipt will be sent by IFHE-US.
