Open Access Webinars - STEMIFY the Curriculum

STEMIFYING the FCS Curriculum

Webinar Description:
Take a deep dive into what it takes to STEMIFY your FCS program. Where the Part I webinar--“Teaching STEM Through Family & Consumer Sciences Education” answered the “why” FCS is linked to STEM, this webinar will walk you through the “how”—how to build  the mindset for STEM lesson planning, content connections,  and administration support.
After this session, attendees will be able to:
  1. Evaluate and enhance the FCS curriculum for STEM applicability.
  2. Apply STEM concepts to FCS classrooms.
  3. Develop confidence to lead STEM lessons across the FCS curriculum.
  4. Consider the benefits of positioning the FCS curriculum as STEM-centered.
