PAFCS Student Unit

The PAFCS Student Unit provides the opportunity for developing family and consumer sciences leadership among student members.

As members, students become familiar with the history and explore the future of family and consumer sciences and AAFCS.

The role of the Student Unit is to provide for and to promote the professional development of post-secondary students of family and consumer sciences or related subjects who are individual members of the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences.

Each AAFCS Student member is a member of the student unit. 

“Student” is defined as any individual seeking a degree in a postsecondary program through the pursuit of FCS-related coursework. Part-time or full-time students are eligible.
