Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) provides opportunities for youth and adults to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviors relating to nutrition, wellness, food science, food production, dietetics and culinary content.

FCCLA Resources

Competitive Events – FCCLA offers many events for FCCLA members that focus on Nutrition and Finance activities and topics. The attached flyer categorizes the events into the career pathways FCCLA members focus on.

FCCLA at the Table - FCCLA’s initiative, FCCLA@TheTable, encourages members to plan, prepare, and share healthy meals for their families. The ultimate goal is to engage youth in planning and preparing healthy meals for their family and to increase planned and prepared family meals nationwide.  Includes a Lesson Plan and additional resources.

Lesson Plans - Multiple Lesson Plans for the classroom, including Nutrition based topics. Integrate FCCLA in your classroom and curriculum with these lesson plans and activities that focus on various FCCLA information and programs.

Student Body - helps members learn to make informed, responsible choices for their physical and mental health while also providing opportunities to teach others. The teen years are an ideal time to establish healthy attitudes and habits to last a lifetime, which is why Student Body gives members the facts and incentives they need to build a healthy body.
