Accreditation Academy Registration

The Learn and Share sessions are focused on specific topics relevant to accredited units.  The sessions are designed to provide a time for interaction, networking, and learning together.  The sessions are recorded and available on-demand through the Accreditation Academy.  To access these sessions, please register for the Accreditation Academy.

Session Topic:  Engaging Stakeholders in the Accreditation Processes

Dr. Linda Kirk Fox, member of the Council for Accreditation and Dean Emeritus at the University of Georgia, and Dr. Pat Sims, Director, School of Child and Family Sciences and Associate Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi, will share their experience and insight while facilitating a discussion related to engaging stakeholders throughout the accreditation process. The information is timely for units that are already accredited and want to strengthen their stakeholder engagement and for units that are considering accreditation.

Session Topic:  Public Reporting of Student Achievement

Public reporting is an accreditation requirement. This public reporting is an excellent opportunity to market your programs. AAFCS recognizes that there are many people involved in a young adult/adult deciding to become a student in the offered programs and programs want to put their best information on the website and in other marketing strategies. This session will help you prepare what you put forward and use to highlight the Return on Investment (ROI) of graduating from the program. The session presenter/facilitator will be Dr. Amy Yates, Council for Accreditation Member, and Interim Director, School of Human Ecology, Louisiana Tech University
