Annual Membership

Annual membership rates cover one year of membership at which time members will receive a renewal email 90 days prior to the expiration date. Membership benefits will not be available when membership status becomes inactive.

Affiliate Membership

Every membership includes membership to one state affiliate. Every affiliate of AAFCS receives a rebate of 25% of the member dues amount! When you join AAFCS at the national level, you are supporting your state level as well. Additional affiliates are available for a fee upon request to AAFCS.

Student Membership (Collegiate/Postsecondary)
Cost: $50

Available to individuals enrolled as students in Family and Consumer Sciences related postsecondary courses,  as confirmed by a completed Student Status Statement.

Note: Individuals seeking endorsement are also considered students.

Part-time or full-time students are eligible.

Assembly of Higher Education (AHE) New Grad
Cost: FREE

Professional Membership
Cost: $150

Individuals with a degree or professional-level credential in any field of study who support the field of Family & Consumer Sciences.

First year members can take advantage of the introductory special and annual member is $100 for the first year.

Emeritus Membership
Cost: $100

Individuals with a degree or professional-level credential in any field of study who support the field of Family & Consumer Sciences and are retired, and at least 60 years of age.

Lifetime Membership
Two tiers: $2,500 upon retirement or $2,000 upon reaching 50-year membership status.

Cost: FREE
