Poster Requirements

  • The maximum width is 48 inches (130 cm); the maximum height is 36 inches (100 cm). 
  • The poster should be one page/slide only. Additional pages/slides will not be accepted.
  • It is important to set up the size of the slide prior to inserting content to the slide.

Recommendations for Poster Layout & Design


  • Keep the presentation simple.
  • Avoid background images and watermarks that may detract from the readability of your poster.
  • Color: Less is more. Keep a simple color scheme with no more than 3-4 colors. (This does not include black and white)
  • Keep text concise and precise.
  • Important information should stand out.
  • Titles and headings should be in a larger font than the body text.
  • Font size recommendations (May vary depending on poster content)
    • Title: 60 +
    • Authors: 50-60 pt
    • Headings: 35+ pt
    • Body Text: 24+ pt
    • Captions: 15+ pt
