To be impactful, the AAFCS must support our Affiliates in their home states to advocate on behalf of Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) and the AAFCS using messaging developed in partnership with the AAFCS membership, communities, and committees and provided to the Affiliates.
- The AAFCS Affiliates will focus on state advocacy and report their efforts to the AAFCS monthly.
- The AAFCS will focus its efforts on federal outreach and invite Affiliates, as applicable, to join meetings held virtually and in the Washington, DC area.
- All advocacy materials will be provided online for use by AAFCS partners and the FCS community.
