Margi DeFord

Margi Deford is the head of Stakeholder Engagement at UL Standards & Engagement and has over 30 years of experience working in the product safety industry. Her team's top priority is to create an exceptional experience for stakeholders by providing them with the necessary support, appreciation and growth opportunities. She has earned degrees in Marketing from Columbia College of Missouri and an M.Ed in Consultation & Collaboration from Arizona State University. Margi is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP).

Corinne Lee

Corinne Lee is the lead of the UL Standards & Engagement Voice of the Stakeholder Program, where she plays a key role in enhancing ULSE's understanding of the experiences and perspectives of technical committee members and stakeholders within the standards development process. Corinne holds a BA in Communication Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is currently pursuing an MS in Information Design and Strategy at Northwestern University. She is passionate about leveraging data and fostering meaningful relationships to create positive community impact. 

Michael Niedermayer

Michael Niedermayer is a Senior Standard Project Specialist at UL Standards & Engagement. He has successfully led numerous UL standards revision projects and he's responsible for managing 20 technical committees. Michael currently has a master's degree in organizational development from University of San Francisco and is currently pursuing a master's degree in risk management & Analytics at North Carolina State University. In his free time, Michael loves to play and go on adventures with his wife and two dogs.
