Nominations Sought for Development/Review Panels for the AAFCS Professional Certification Exams - Deadline: February 28, 2024
AAFCS is launching a review and refresh of three of its professional certification exams:

Family and Consumer Sciences Composite;
-
Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS); and
-
Hospitality, Nutrition, and Food Science (HNFS).
AAFCS invites you to submit nominations of individuals from across the US to serve on the Development/Review Panels. Individuals may also self-nominate if they have an interest in serving on the panels. The Development/Review Panels are comprised of 12-15 subject-matter experts (SMEs) representing business and industry, secondary education, and post-secondary education (e.g., two-year and four-year institutions and Extension). Your assistance is requested to identify professionals to participate in the review process to ensure assessments reflect the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary in the respective career fields. AAFCS will review all nominations to secure panelists and then send out invitations to participate in the process.
Tentative Development/Review Timeline:

Finalize Development/Review Panel Members: March - April, 2024

Conduct Assessment Reviews: May - July, 2024
