The American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) is pleased to announce the 2020-2021 Board of Directors that were sworn in during the 2020 AAFCS Virtual Conference on June 26. Dr. Lizabeth Mullens, CFCS, Dean and Professor Emerita, College of Agriculture & Human Ecology, Tennessee Technological University was elected President. Ethel Jones, CFCS, Director, School of Human Ecology at Louisiana Tech University will serve as Treasurer.
Mia Russell, Vice President, Content Strategy & Integration, Hands on Banking, Wells, MD; Fargo Robert Van Dyke, CFCS, Family & Consumer Sciences Education Consultant, NC Department of Public Instruction, Career & Technical Education; Debra K. Andres, Family & Consumer Sciences Agent, Geary County, Kansas State University Research and Extension; Deborah J. Handy, CFCS, Washington State University, Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Human Development, Washington State University; and Lorna M. Wounded Head, CFCS, CPFFE, Family Resource Management Field Specialist, South Dakota State University will serve in the capacity of Director-at-Large. Jackie Ogden, CFCS will serve as Past President and Carolyn Jackson, CFCS will serve as Ex-Officio.
