Each year during the AAFCS Annual Conference, IFHE-US holds the Sharon McManus Cultural Event to spread the spirit of international involvement and to raise funds for the Disaster Assistance Partnership. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, June 22 on the campus of Morgan State University with a panoramic view of Baltimore and the Inner Harbor. The bus will leave the conference hotel at 5 PM and return by 8 PM. Dinner will feature a special Maryland style meal. Professor Dale Green has family history dating to the establishment of the Morgan State University and will present its history. President David Wilson will share today’s mission and the diversity of education programs provided at Morgan State. Dr. Jacqueline Holland from the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences has asked international students to share their backgrounds and plans for their professional careers.Click on the link to learn more about registration fees, deadlines, and instructions.
