Overview of ATD Juried Showcase

The ATD Juried Showcase is a competitive exhibition that highlights original work in apparel, textile, and related design fields. ATD design scholars and practitioners, both students and professionals, are invited to submit design projects, research-based work, or creative explorations for review by a jury of design experts. The showcase provides a platform for recognition within the design community, allowing participants to present their work to conference attendees and have it published in the design catalogue and annual conference proceedings. It celebrates innovation, creativity, and scholarly contributions that advance the field of textile and apparel design.

The ATD Community invites design scholars to submit abstracts for the ATD juried showcase at the AAFCS annual conference. The competition encourages participants to explore new materials and techniques, pushing the boundaries in the creative design process. Submit a publishable abstract and photos to present your creative design works.
