To provide family and consumer science professionals, who apply their skills in the business world, the opportunity to gain networking opportunities, professional development and entrepreneurial skills.

Our Actions

The Community of Business and Entrepreneurship provides opportunities for Family and Consumer Science professionals to collaborate to promote FCS careers outside of education. We work to help prepare FCS professionals for the future of the Family and Consumer Science in the ever-changing business community. We support FCS professionals in networking, and development of their leadership skills.

Our primary purpose is to provide family and consumer science professionals, who apply their skills in the business world, the opportunity to gain networking opportunities, professional development and entrepreneurial skills.

2025 Annual Conference

Join us each year at the Annual Conference to find out more about what new things the Community of Business and Entrepreneurship has going on. We are present each year with a community business meeting and discussion on what members would like to see the community do for members and the FCS profession.
